Rosie’s nappy stacker–pattern release!

I have been steadily working my way through my earlier designs and putting them in to pattern form for release in my Craftsy store.  This is my latest release:

Rosies nappy stacker 2

Designed for my sweet daughter Rosie, before her birth, this generous nappy stacker sits pretty on a nursery wall. This is the perfect project for making baby’s first room feel personal and hand-made – especially if you get the sewing bug and want to make co-ordinating items from the same fabrics!

The project measures 55 x 76cm (21.5 x 30in)

The inside trim is lined as well so that it sits pretty whether the skirt is open or closed!

My daughter has grown out of nappies but now uses her dress stacker to store special blankies and soft toys.  If she wasn’t using it I think I might just borrow it for my studio and fill it full of fabric!

The pattern is now available in my Craftsy store as an instant download for just $7.00USD.  The comprehensive instructions are supported by diagrams and full-colour photos.  If you would prefer a paper pattern, please visit my SEW Useful Designs shop.

I’ll be back tomorrow – see you then!

It's gorgeous Vikki!! ... For my little one (who's now 5), I was blessed to use the nappy stacker that my Mum actually made for when she had me!! It had a big teddy head on top where the hook is (hook was behind head), and the frame going out to the side on the top was his arms and paws. SOOO cute, and so incredibly useful!!! All the cloth nappies I used with her (minus a few that got too ratty to store, and went in the fabric pile intending to be made into some tea-dyed teddies) went into a plastic storage box in anticipation for my next one :) Love seeing a newly bathed baby, even toddler, in a fresh white nappy - they just LOOK so adorable!!!

With twins, I have found that the free super savers shipping on economy size diapers is a godsend. The diapers seem a little thinner but I have never had a problem with leaking. They have the same stretch tabs on the sides that I liked about honest diapers. I love having these shipped right to my door & always having so many on hand. It's one less thing to worry about carrying when shopping with the kids. They always ship within a couple of days so I just make sure that I order them a few days earlier than when it looks like we'll need them.
