Do you remember the freaky looking lemons in my last post? Well, my fellow Gumnut, Cheryl, thought that the citrus sensations were just SO keen to get in my sewing room with me that they had evolved to grow lots of extra *fingers*!!
So I put them to the test!
But you know what?
They were very clumsy - as some would say - all fingers and thumbs!!! They might be more useful in a glass of cold lemonade? Oh no, now that I've personified them I'm going to feel really mean slicing them up!! But I will, and I'll show you the pics. :-) Thanks to Mandapanda I now know that the name of this lemon tree is Buddhas Fingers. Thank you Manda!
Now for a little bit of Joy!

Oh boy I bet your sewing room smells good!
Just think how fast you could sew with three needles at once.
That's just too funny!
:o)
Hi Vikki,
Those lemons are very quirky and I love citrus flavoured cakes.
Let me know when you're going to bake with them and I'll be over in a flash.
Great work you've been doing.
Hugs,
Anna
Not the fingers, don't chop the fingers!! Hee! Hee!
Budda fingers, a whole new religious plant for you!!!! They are really cute. We have had carrots grow like that.
Make lemon muffins with them, that would be really yummy.
Now that pic is just too funny!!! BTW, when will the lemonade be ready? lol....
You wouldn't need a thimble , lol !
Hola Vikki!!!
Nuncaví nada parecido, son muy raros...
Mejor hazlos una rica limonada, me duele verlos pinchados, jajaja

Oh Vicki, you make me laugh!!! I'd like the extra hand in my sewing room....it seems to take me forever when I'm stitching (perhaps new glasses would help!)
Now, with regards to cooking with them......lemon and poppyseed... mmmmmmm!!!!

They're fantastic lemons aren't they?! I won the RSPCA Cupcake Day competition at work by making lemon cupcakes, but with normal lemons from our tree. Funny huh?
No, I don't mind being called Manda, that's what everyone calls me!
I'm enjoying reading your blog, and don't you forget to come over to mine for my next post, because I'll be having my 100th post giveaway!
Hugs, Manda
Now there's a pin cushion with a difference - LOL
