Snuggle up to a cushion made with love…

Do you tend to buy fabrics that you fall in love with – without a clue what you plan to do with them?  Or are you more organised and buy the fabrics for a project in mind?  I tend to do a bit of both.  In fact, sometimes I border along the ridiculous and love a fabric  so much that I just don’t want to cut in to it!!

Well, the fabric I used in my latest published project was an impulse buy that I fell in love with and have had in my stash for a few years.  When I was asked to design a cushion for the Creating Country Threads stitchery special, the teal green directional print was perfect for my needs!

There are lots of lovely projects in this issue (Vol 13 No 5) and it’s in the newsagents’ now!

This time next week my family and I will be enjoying our first holiday in more than 10 years!  We’re off to the Gold Coast in Queensland – and can’t wait!  I look forward to telling you all about it on my return!

Till then – wishing you lots of stitchy goodness!

Hey!! Don't sell yourself short, a girl needs as much material as she can get!!lol. My boys have built a shed for me because I have so much material, so now...er...um...I have to have a project planned before I sneak any material into our house!!! But it's fun sneaking.
Cheers, Anita.
