Pixie dust!

Hi!

My name is Smiler and I'm a little bookshelf pixie

(although I prefer sitting outdoors!)

My mum made me from a pattern by Allison Marano and I am a very happy girl!

I share mum's craft desk with her and
we smile at each other every day!

When she is asleep I sneak into her desk and eat-up some of her chocolate!

But Shhhh! She doesn't know... she thinks her hidey-hole is secret!

If you would like to meet me, I will be going with mum to the

Sunday 3 May

I will be easy enough to find... just follow your nose...
I smell like cocoa!!!!

Shhhh!!

Oh, and mum has been drawing again... she likes doing that!

She is so smitten with me (and who can blame her? he he he..) that she is thinking about making me a sister!

So I guess it won't be too long before I'll be sharing my - oops - I mean "mum's" chocolate!

It was nice meeting you!

Byeeee!!!!!

Oh my gosh Vikki, this is just so darn cute. Aren't you a woman with many talents? I love your drawing/artwork. Is the doll exhibit one that will be judged?

Having seen this little pixie in the flesh (or should that be 'cloth'), I know just how divine it truly is. Can't wait to see the sister.

Hey Vikki! What a cute little pixie you've created! I've not ever tried to make a sculpted dolly, I design and make the country cloth kind, but do admire the sculpted ones. Can't wait to see Smiler's sister! Oh ... had a bit of a giggle at your expense over your Fire Escape escapades in the previous post - sounds like something my best buddy and I would manage!! Tell us the truth, though ... you were hoping to be resuced by some hunky firemen, weren't you?!?! :0) Bear Hugs! KRIS

Aww... how cute is she???? And, my lovely lady, you can draw incredibly well! I hope you're super-proud of that amazing talent.

That is amazing . Cheeky little thing you'll have to find somewhere else now for your chocolate .

I love your art work...awesome work..I have made this pixie years ago for my daugther but arty type dolls are not my cup of tea. I love prim style dolls...the dirtier the better..LOL...I doubt I will ever make an art doll again...hugs Khris

Hi Vikki,
I love Smiler, he just looks so cheeky. I haven't ventured into the world of sculpted dolls but have always loved them. The Cloth Doll Association here in Tassie meets very close by and maybe after hearing your story I might venture in there sooner rather than later.
Hugs
Jo
PS The fire escape story is hilarious and I'm with Kris next time wait for a hunky fireman to get you out!!

Vikki, Pixie is just the cutest little thing I have seen for ages. Clever you, you are so talented. Can't wait to see the sister when she arrives in town. Hope she doesn't like chocolate also or you're gonna be in big trouble!! Have fun at the Doll Exhibition.
